  This church is very inviting and friendly. The people there went out of their way to make me feel welcome. If you are looking for a traditional Baptist church with a big heart, then this is the place for you.

  Lavon Drive is a great, Bible believing church. So many lives have been improved by the ministries of this amazing body of believers. Countless scores of souls will spend eternity in heaven because of the faithful devotion of the past and current leadership of this fine church. I can not recommend it more highly. God bless LDBC!

  I was invited to Lavon Drive four years ago and have called it my home church ever since. The week before the invitation, I had visited another local church but had the all too familiar experience of being a "visitor". The body of believers at Lavon is unmatched by any of the churches I have ever been a part of. If you have a heart for singing, there's ministry opportunities for you. If you love serving in the kids department, there's ministry opportunities for you. The list goes on.
  
  Even though some potential guest might think the church is "too" large membership wise, the church has an excellent atmosphere and fellowship. I truly recommend this place! Come visit!
